Ayurvedic Cooking

My Food Makes Your Body Feel Goooood!

I’ve had a love affair with Ayurvedic food for many years since I began studying Ayurveda which is the natural health and medical system of India. I’m passionate about cooking wholesome, high protein vegetarian and vegan meals that taste really delicious and are good for all body types.

My intention is to create food that’s easy on your digestion, brings lots of energy to your body and makes you feel satisfied and content.  To achieve this I follow Ayurveda’s ancient principals of nutrition and cooking techniques using fresh vegetables, whole grains and legumes, unhomogenised dairy milk or nut milks, seeds, aromatic herbs, spices and oils. Each dish I prepare has all six tastes which combine together allowing healthy digestion, absorption and elimination of food which is the key to Ayurvedic cooking.  You can learn more about this at one of my cooking workshops.

I cook my food fresh at Kyogle Farmers Markets every Saturday morning serving Ayurvedic chai, vegan soups, pancakes and pockets, spice mixes and ghee with free recipes to take home.  You can also buy my spice mixes and ghee online.
