Ayurveda teaches not all foods are suitable for every body. Knowing your body type is essential to finding the right foods to eat. According to Ayurvedic science, the cause of most health problems is eating the wrong foods for your body type and having imbalanced digestive power. Poorly digested foods as well as the inability to digest and process thoughts and emotions, creates toxins.These toxins accumulate, affecting natural functioning of the mind and bodily systems resulting in disease. The key to restoring health is to balance your digestion and de stress the mind. My aim is to teach you some basic fundamentals of Ayurvedic nutrition, cooking and pass on the main principals to help you choose nourishing food that is good for you.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayur means life and Veda means knowledge or science. Ayurveda is a science of life and natural healing system of India. It offers a complete holistic way to restore peace, health and happiness to your body and mind. Ayurveda uses pure foods, herbs and spices chosen specifically for your constitution and digestive condition to nourish and restore your bodies intelligence and natural ability to heal itself. Ayurveda’s ancient knowledge has been time tested for over 5,000 years and is recognised by the World Health Organisation as a successful, reputable natural healing system.
About Me
I've been practicing Ayurveda since 2011 and I formally studied with Dr. Ajit Singh BAMS. I have healed from chronic fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety and depression and the Ayurvedic diet & lifestyle practices have become the foundation of my daily health routine and for my life!
Over the years I have tried most healing modalities but nothing gave me lasting relief and contentment. Ayurveda has literally given me my life back. I have learned how to stay well and I am inspired, qualified and committed to helping you too.

Everything I create honours the ancient Indian tradition of mantra, yoga and Ayurveda. As a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner, yogi and sacred music artist, I am deeply inspired by this path because it has healed me of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. As food nourishes your body, sacred sound feeds your soul. For thousands of years the sages of ancient India have known of the spiritual science of sound, mantra, yoga and Ayurveda for healing the mind and body and have passed on this wisdom to us in an unbroken lineage of the Vedic tradition.
The repetition of Sanskrit mantras and simple, yet inspired melodies invoke powerful healing vibrations that restore peace, harmony and vitality to our inner being and outer worlds, awakening us to the great spirit of love that is our true nature.

I'm an award winning songwriter, professional musician, teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner.
I've been singing all my life, but my true musical heart was untouched until I went to India. I fell in love with the healing sounds, exotic instruments and classical ragas that touched my heart and inspired me to record a range of albums for yoga and meditation.
While in India, I also discovered the healing science of Ayurveda and later studied with Dr. S. Ajit, AIAS. This set me on the path to healing myself of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, anxiety and depression.
I've recorded ten albums under my brand Cafe Mantra, authored my first Ayurvedic cookbook and teach harmonium, chanting and Indian classical singing.
I travel Australia and abroad to yoga festivals, yoga retreats and conscious music events to share the sound of spirit and the sacred science of mantra and Ayurveda. When I'm not travelling, I teach and consult at my home in West Haven, Mid North Coast NSW.
